The forest is dominated by dry deciduous species, providing valuable timber, minor forest produce, and traditional medicinal resources. Key species include:

**Sagwan (Teak - *Tectona grandis*):** Highly valued for its durable, high-quality timber.
**Moha (Mahua - *Madhuca longifolia*):** Essential for tribal economy; flowers are used for food and brewing.
**Temburni (Tendu - *Diospyros melanoxylon*):** Leaves are commercially important for making 'beedis'.
**Behda / Bhera (Beleric - *Terminalia bellirica*):** Known for its medicinal properties (part of the Triphala mix).
**Bambu (Bamboo):** Fast-growing resource used widely for construction and handicrafts.
